Privacy policy
Defendi el Camp is run by the Defendi el Camp team. This page says what the game and its online services keep about you, why, and how to have it deleted. The story can be played without an account; then nothing leaves your device.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, the name other players see, and your password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you sign in with Google, Apple or Steam: that account's id, and the name and email it shares with us.
- Your progress: levels, stars, upgrades, heroes and loadouts, and recordings of the story levels you play (your orders in the game and when you gave them), which our server plays again to confirm your results.
- Online matches: the players, their picks and orders, and the result.
- Technical data: IP addresses and request times in our server logs, to keep the service secure and stop abuse.
Why
- To give you an account and keep your progress on every device you sign in on.
- To confirm results and keep online play fair (no cheating).
- To match you with players of similar progress, and run online matches.
- To send you the codes that confirm your email, reset your password or delete your account. We don't send newsletters or ads.
Who else sees it
- Brevo sends our emails, so it receives your email address and the message.
- Google, Apple or Steam, only if you choose to sign in with them, under their own privacy policies.
- Other players see your name and your match results.
We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or sites.
How long
Your account and progress are kept until you delete your account. Story recordings and match records are kept as long as your account, to settle disputes. Server logs are kept for 30 days and backups for 14 days.
Your choices
- See and change your name and sign-in methods in the game (Account).
- Delete your account and everything kept on it, in the game (Account, Delete account) or at /account/delete. It is gone from our backups within 14 days.
Children
The game is suitable for everyone. Online play needs an account, which needs an email address; if you are a parent and want your child's account removed, delete it as above.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page will show the new version and the game will tell you.
